February 14, 2018 PSEG Reliability Engineer Mike Oakley and BHS Station Manager Karl Wintermeyer represented PSEG Power CT the University of Bridgeport Career and Job Fair, an event that allows students to connect with potential employers. PSEG Power CT is currently seeking highly qualified graduating college students interested in a career in engineering. PSEG Power CT is also providing for summer internship at Bridgeport Harbor Station and New Haven Harbor Station for current college students. As a company, PSEG is committed to fostering the next generation of engineers. Partnering with the University of Bridgeport and its top ranked engineering department is not only good community relations, but an essential part of our company objectives. As part of the Bridgeport Community, PSEG is actively working to improve the city and the lives of its residents. On Monday, January 5, 2018, PSEG’s Vice President - State Governmental Affairs Richard T. Thigpen stood in front of Bridgeport City Council, residents and Mayor Joe Ganim to give an update on our exceptional progress. Not only is PSEG meeting the CEBA requirements we are exceeding them. One hundred and fifty Fairfield County Building Trades members were also in attendance and to speak on behalf of PSEG. PSEG’s goal is to create a thriving community to both live and work.
