Santa came a few days early for children at the Marina Village housing complex! On Thursday, December 20, 2018, PSEG delivered 200 gifts to children and families in need at the annual Marina Village Toy Drive. As a corporate citizen, PSEG BHS 5 actively supports the Bridgeport Community and those make it possible for us to call this great city home. We are excited to be able to spread the joy this holiday season to those who need it most like the residents at Marina Village!

Thursday, December 6, 2018 – PSEG Power CT had the honor of celebrating the 11th anniversary of the Southern Connecticut Black Chamber of Commerce (SCBCC) at their annual Holiday Celebration. The event recognized outstanding businesses as well as business and community leaders that provide exceptional practices and support to small, minority and women-owned businesses. The economy can take a toll on small businesses in the community, but the annual Holiday Celebration recognized the strength that these businesses possess and the challenges they have overcome. The SCBCC actively works to bridge the gap to success by raising awareness of the importance of a multicultural society. As a business organization committed to ensuring the economic growth and sustainability of minority-owned companies, SCBCC serves the communities of Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport, and New Haven and is the state's first regional black chamber of commerce. December 13, 2018 - Excitement filled the air as family and friends gathered for the 4th PSEG Ready2Work graduation. Graduation from the program does not mark the end for graduates first step of an opportunity for a prosperous career in the construction trades. Various representatives from the City of Bridgeport, local businesses, Building Pathways CT and PSEG were all present to celebrate the accomplishments of the 4th Ready2Work class. Graduates shared their experiences from the program and where they see themselves in the future with their career.
