PSEG Supports the Annual FIRST Lego League Jr. Expo

On Monday, June 10th, ACCESS Educational Services, Inc. held their 2nd Annual FIRST Lego League Jr. Expo at Housatonic Community College for 25 teams of 2nd and 3rd-grade students. Representatives from PSEG Power CT were present to support the annual event by volunteering as Expo Reviewers.

The Annual FIRST Lego League Jr. Expo is a culminating event for a year-long Robotics program for Bridgeport students held at Classical Studies Magnet Academy and John Winthrop Schools. Team members learn about the Engineering Design Process and the challenges of living on the Moon. Members then build the MISSION MOON models and created Poster Boards to show how various supplies could help them live on the Moon and present their work to School Administrators, Parents, and the Community.

PSEG is proud to support organizations like ACCESS Educational Services, who continue to foster growth in Bridgeport youth.
