PSEG SUPPORTS THE ORCUTT BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS
On November 20, 2017 PSEG joined the Orcutt Boys & Girls Clubs as they celebrated their 130th Anniversary as a youth service agency assisting the Bridgeport community. PSEG Power Connecticut’s Plant Chemistry Analyst and previous Boys and Girls clubs volunteer and student counselor, Angela Young, was in attendance to participate in the celebration of this milestone. The event recognized the Boys and Girls Club’s 130 years of helping generations of Bridgeport children receive needed mentoring and educational support.
Every year an increasing number of children are left home with no adult supervision leaving them to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. Boys and Girls Clubs provides families with various programs and services which aim to promote and enhance the development of young boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
PSEG strives to help its community by creating a better tomorrow for its residents. Today’s youth are vital to our future, PSEG understands the importance of investing in the children and the communities where we live, work and operate.
