Pete Carroll Named 2019 Bridgeport St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal
The Bridgeport St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the city’s most anticipated events every year. On Saturday, January 19th Bridgeport native and long-time parade supporter Peter Carroll was named this year’s Grand Marshal. PSEG is exceptionally proud to see Mr. Carroll, business manager of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 488 (488 I.B.E.W), as Grand Marshall because of our close relationships with our local building trades.
Peter Carroll was born and raised in Bridgeport into a large Irish family and has lived in Stratford for the past 40 years. For over seventeen years Carroll owned Stony Brook Restaurant in Stratford and through his business, he took an active role in the community sponsoring local sports teams. At his current position, Carroll remains very active in the community. Local 488 is a major supporter of the St. Patrick’s Day parade, the Barnum Festival and the Juneteenth Parade.
PSEG is ecstatic to support our community, its members and the 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Parade!
