PSEG Hosts 2018 Turkey Drive
PSEG Power CT has a lot to be thankful for this year so, in an effort to show our appreciation to our community, we decided to give back to those who give us their all! On Tuesday, November 20th PSEG with the help of Building Pathway’s Connecticut and the Connecticut Building Trades Council held a turkey drive for PSEG’s Ready2Work Apprenticeship Readiness Training Program students and graduates.
Turkeys were distributed at the Bridgeport Harbor Station site to 12 Ready2Work students, 4 union graduates working on site and 10 others. PSEG is proud to have provided Stop & Shop gift cards for our students’ and graduates’ families and the union trades council purchased the turkeys. With a grocery gift card and turkey in hand, the goal is to provide recipients with all they need to create a Thanksgiving meal for their families.
As always serving our community is at the helm of what we do at PSEG. Supporting local families during the holiday season is one small way to give back to those who put the time and dedication to make projects on and off-site possible!
