PSEG Power’s Ralph LaRossa visits Ready2Work class
It’s Week #3 of PSEG’s second Ready2Work class and, in the midst of the day’s lesson on May 1, students were surprised with a visit by PSEG Power President and Chief Operating Officer Ralph LaRossa. LaRossa was able to take some time out of his scheduled meetings for the Bridgeport Harbor Unit 5 project to meet and connect with each of the Ready2Work students.
Ready2Work students are seizing the opportunity to make a better future for themselves and their families through education and determination. With careers in the building trades taking on increasing prominence throughout the U.S., LaRossa discussed the significance of this career path and how the demand for more tradesmen and women is continuously growing. Bridgeport residents comprise more than 80 percent of the current Ready2Work class.
“PSEG proudly supports Bridgeport residents by providing a program such as our Ready2Work Apprenticeship Training, which, ultimately, is an investment in their futures,” LaRossa said. “We are extremely proud to be part of these Bridgeport residents’ journey to success.”
