PSEG Promotes the Future Workforce of America
For teenagers, one of the most daunting questions that can be asked is what career path they will pursue after high school. Luckily for the students at Bullard Havens Technical High School they were given the opportunity to meet with prospective employers from the community and receive insight into various careers. PSEG CT Operations Readiness Director, Karl Wintermeyer and Katherine Mamed from Building Pathways CT were in attendance to provide information about PSEG’s Ready2Work program.
The career fair aimed to prepare students for post-secondary education such as apprenticeships and even immediate employment. PSEG’s Ready2Work is an apprenticeship readiness program aims to provide free training to prepare Bridgeport residents for a high-paying union apprenticeship in the building trades. The program is run locally and is facilitated by The WorkPlace and supplied by Building Pathways CT.
PSEG aims to better the lives of Bridgeport residents and provide opportunities for future generations. Click here for more information about our Ready2Work program!
